My journey began with art…

Before I ever walked onto a construction site in London, I was studying painting, sculpture, and the history of design. I believed then, as I do now, that art has the power to transform how people feel in a space. That passion led me to study art history and design, and later to architecture, where I discovered the profound impact of light, material, and form on daily life.

The Mentors Who Shaped
My Path…

In Los Angeles, I worked with Lewin Wertheimer, an architect known for his elegant homes along the Pacific Coast Highway. He showed me how architecture could be poetic. How light could be treated as a material. How homes could open themselves to the world outside while remaining deeply personal sanctuaries inside. From Lewin, I learned that design is not only about what you see, but about what you feel.

Later, in Atlanta, I had the privilege of working with Anna K Intown. From Anna, I discovered the discipline behind design. She taught me that budgets, schedules, and numbers are not limits but instruments that give creativity its strength. She showed me how design and real estate strategy can work together, creating homes that are both beautiful and wise investments.

These mentors gave me the foundation on which Element-Form was built. Their lessons travel with me into every project we take on in West London, West Ealing, and beyond.

What Homeowners in West London Need to Know

If you are renovating a home in West London, whether a Victorian terrace in West Ealing or a family house near Ealing Broadway, you may already feel the weight of the process. Renovations here are filled with complexity and choice, and without structure the joy can quickly fade.

Here are the three challenges I hear most often from London homeowners:

“I don’t know where to start.”
Planning permissions, design drawings, and choosing the right trades can feel like an endless maze. The truth is that clarity at the beginning prevents stress later. A clear design and build plan is the most valuable tool you can have.

“I am worried about the budget running out of control.”
This is one of the most common fears. Costs escalate when projects begin without a structured budget. The lesson I carry from Anna is that transparency brings freedom. When the numbers are clear, you can make creative choices with confidence instead of anxiety.

“I am afraid of losing control of the vision.”
Many homeowners fear that once the builders arrive, the dream they imagined will disappear into compromises. The truth is, your vision should remain at the centre. The role of a design-led project coordinator is not to take over but to hold the process together so your ideas are protected and fully realised.

Why West Ealing and West London Inspire Us

West Ealing is filled with homes that carry character and history. Victorian terraces stand alongside Edwardian homes and newer builds, each offering its own possibilities. Renovations here are never just about bricks and mortar. They are about creating a dialogue between past and present. They are about weaving a family’s story into the walls of a home.

This is what inspires us at Element-Form. We believe that London homes deserve clarity, creativity, and care.

The Heart of Element-Form

Element-Form began with my love of art, shaped by the guidance of extraordinary mentors, and strengthened by years of design and project management across cities. It has found its true home here in London.

Today, every renovation in West Ealing, Ealing, and across West London is guided by the same values. Clarity that prevents overwhelm. Structure that protects creativity. Beauty that endures.

That is how Element-Form began. And that is how we help homeowners build spaces that are not only designed but truly lived in.
